Certification Introduction

Management system certification is a compliance evaluation and certification system for the management capabilities of various organizations within the territory of China, uniformly supervised by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA). It is used to prove that an organization's management system meets the requirements of corresponding national standards, helps organizations improve management level and enhance market competitiveness, and covers multiple fields including quality management, environmental management, occupational health and safety management, and information security management.

Technical Requirements

General Requirements for Certification Bodies: Certification bodies shall comply with GB/T 27021.1 *Conformity assessment — Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems — Part 1: Requirements* and relevant standards of the GB/T 27021 series. Corresponding Standards for Common Fields: Quality management system GB/T 19001 (identical to ISO 9001), environmental management system GB/T 24001 (identical to ISO 14001), occupational health and safety management system GB/T 45001 (identical to ISO 45001), etc. Usage Rules: Certified organizations shall not mark the management system certification mark on the product itself, and can only indicate certification information on promotional materials and product packaging. The use of the mark must comply with filing requirements. Application Requirements: Organizations shall establish a management system that meets the corresponding standards, complete trial operation and meet the basic conditions specified in certification rules.

Certification Process

The organization prepares a management system that meets the requirements, and submits a certification application to a certification body with corresponding qualifications;
The certification body conducts application review, verifies the qualification of the applicant and the basic operation status of the management system, and signs a certification contract after the application meets the requirements;
The certification body carries out on-site audit in stages in accordance with the rules. For initial certification, first-stage and second-stage audits are arranged to ensure sufficient audit man-days;
After passing the audit, the certification certificate will be issued. After obtaining the certificate, the organization shall accept annual supervision audits as required, and recertification is required when the certificate expires.
