Certification Introduction
Management system certification is a conformity assessment certification system for the management capabilities of various organizations within the territory of China, uniformly supervised by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China. It proves that an organization's management system complies with corresponding national standard requirements, helps organizations improve management capabilities and enhance market competitiveness, and covers multiple fields including quality management, environmental management, occupational health and safety management, and information security management.

Technical Requirements
- General requirements for certification bodies: Must comply with GB/T 27021.1 Conformity assessment — Requirements for management system audit and certification bodies — Part 1: Requirements and relevant standards in the GB/T 27021 series.
- Corresponding standards for common fields: GB/T 19001 (quality management system, identical to ISO 9001), GB/T 24001 (environmental management system, identical to ISO 14001), GB/T 45001 (occupational health and safety management system, identical to ISO 45001), etc.
- Usage rules: Certified organizations shall not mark the management system certification mark on the product itself; certification information can only be stated on promotional materials and product packaging, and mark usage must comply with filing requirements.
- Application requirements: Organizations shall establish a management system that meets corresponding standards, complete trial operation and satisfy the basic conditions specified in certification rules.
Certification Process
Organizations prepare a qualified management system and submit a certification application to a certification body with corresponding qualifications; the certification body conducts application review to verify the applicant's qualification and basic operation status of the system, and signs a certification contract after requirements are met; the certification body carries out staged on-site audits in accordance with rules. For initial certification, first-stage and second-stage audits are arranged to ensure sufficient audit man-days; a certification certificate is issued after passing the audit. After certification, organizations shall accept annual supervision audits as required, and re-certification is required when the certificate expires.
